Every winter morning in Cozyville started with one shout:
âMUFFLY! Untangle yourself right now!â
Muffly the scarf giggled. He loved getting into trouble. While other scarves lay neatly folded, Muffly rolled, twisted, looped, and wrapped himself around anything he found chair legs, cupboard handles, even the dogâs tail.
But he had one rule: He only tangled with love.
One day, a little boy named Ethan picked him up. âAre youâŚalive?â he whispered.
Muffly wiggled proudly. âIâm warm AND fun. Wanna try me on?â
As soon as Ethan wrapped him around his neckâŚFWOOOP! Muffly tightened into the snuggest, warmest hug ever. Not too tight, not too loose just perfect.
Ethan giggled. âYouâre soft!â
âAnd you're my new favorite human!â Muffly declared.
From then on, Muffly didnât tangle randomly. He tangled only when Ethan needed it like when cold winds blewâŚor when Ethan needed a confidence hug before schoolâŚor when he felt shy at a birthday party.
Muffly wasnât mischievous anymore. He was loyal, warm, and proudly wrapped around his best friend.
đ Moral of the Story:
Sometimes the things that seem âmessyâ or âmischievousâ are actually the ones that love us the most. đ§Ł
